| There are so many wonderful things to do in Cornwall, most within easy reach of Lavethan. It would not be possible to do them justice in our simple web site and we have therefore decided to make one or two comments only and provide what we think is the best link which you can explore peacefully to acquire the latest information. |
| Best Beaches. These are fantastic on both the South and North Coasts but very different in the delights they provide. Two good sites to call up are Cornish Light and the Cornish District Council. |
| Gardens Open to the Public. These are really wonderful and a must if you are in any way interested in such matters; the climate in Cornwall makes gardens very special. Where you choose to go must depend on the time of year so check these guides or ask us. Look at the Tour UK site or have a look at another part of Cornish Light |
| Golf Courses. For the keen golfers there are some great sites to really test top level players and also provide fun for the less able. Try Cornish Light again or Golfing in Cornwall if you need more comprehensive list. |
| Villages and Towns to Visit. Probably Cornwall on Line would be the best help here. |
| Good Local Restaurants and Pubs. This is a bit more tricky as what yo like and what you can afford are not always the same thing but Eat out in Cornwall is a good guide but you need to be selective. With regard to pubs try the Pub Guide |
| Bodmin Moor. If you need a good walk and fresh air away from the sea this is where you must go. The Bodmin Moor guide is fantastic and will tell you all, or too much, of what you want to know. |
